Ensembles and Group Instruction

Harper Woodwind Quintet
By audition only, this ensemble will perform traditional woodwind quintet music. Instrumentation is flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and horn. Performance opportunities will be made available. Rehearsals will be once a week.

Tuition: $100 per semester

Harper Brass Quintet
By audition only, this ensemble will perform music of many different styles either written or arranged for brass quintet. Instrumentation is 2 trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba. Participants will be expected to provide instruments and mutes as required. Performance opportunities will be made available. Rehearsals will be once a week.

Harper Youth Wind Ensemble
By audition only, this ensemble will perform with wind ensemble instrumentation. This ensemble will perform challenging music and perform in public. Rehearsals will be once a week on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:15 pm at Hibriten High School.
Instructor: Bill Witcher
Tuition is $50 for fall Semester and $100 for spring semester.

Harper Jazz Ensemble
The Harper Jazz Ensemble is offered in partnership with Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute by audition only. This competitively selected ensemble will perform a wide range of jazz and popular styles of music including instruction in jazz improvisation. Rehearsals will take place at Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute. Rehearsals will be weekly.

Tuition: $125 per semester

Harper String Ensemble
The adult string ensemble is open to participants by permission of the instructor. Players experience the joy of producing music with a group, the support of other adult students, and a type of camaraderie reminiscent of the best of school days.
