The World Music Drumming curriculum is the creation of Dr. Will Schmid, professor of music at the University of Wisconsin. This curriculum is an active, hands-on approach to teaching students about ethnic traditions from around the world. In addition to drumming, students improvise, listen and learn while developing a strong sense of rhythm.
The full day class is cooperative learning and team building. The World Music Drumming curriculum is available to groups and schools for day long activities. All ages benefit from this action packed experience and all instruments are provided. |
