The Music Together Class:
Music Together classes are small communities of families who share the fun and joy of making music together. These 45 minute classes are carefully planned by registered Music Together teachers. Classes are play-based and fun-filled “musicing” or music making experiences, which promote musical development in children in the ways they learn best - in an exploratory manner and by their parents or care-givers modeling.

Music Together classes are focused on nurturing the basic music competence of each child. The Music Together program is grounded in the notion that all people have a musical aptitude that can be developed when nurtured.

Parents and Caregiver Education:
Parental participation in Music Together is one of the philosophical groundings of the program. The registered Music Together teacher helps provide the exciting musical play. Parents become their child's primary music mentor by encouraging their child's musical exploration and by creating music with their child.
